ex: fenobribrate, gemfibrozil
increase dose as tolerated take with food
abdominal pain, headache, dizziness
take at HS will need regular lab work
arthralgia, myalgia, rhabdomyolysis, increased liver enzymes
ex. cholestyramine
take with food. follow with sufficient fluid intake
