Identify the main ideas and the details that support them and then summarize the text with the most important ideas

Put together clues and figure out of what the author means

Put together the text, personal experiences and other texts, but too pur knowledge with author´s ideas

Ask questions tp know what the author is trying to tell, we can use the Wh- Questions like: Who, What, When, Where, Why, How

Combine the ideas, information, draw conclusions, and compare information

Create pictures in our mind to describe the things of the text like how it looks, sounds, smells, tastes, feels; and also imagine people, places and events

Keep track, check on and make sure to underestand , clarify ideas and vpcabulary, notice confusing parts and make them clear

Preview, look the headings, visuals (pictures), captions the bold face words, set a purpose and predict
