And as much as he blew, he couldn't move a single brick from the walls. It was a very sturdy house! a b c 16 The wolf did not give up and looked for a hole through to get into the house. With just one leap, he got on the roof and realized it was possible to sneak through the chimney. a b c 17 He slid down the fireplace ito the house, and fell into a huge pot of broth that was being heated on the fire. a b c 18 The burn was so serious that the wolf let out a heart-rending howl and shot back to the roof through the chimney.
