see hot changing Death life complexion lives shade lovely summer's darling breathe eternal fair

SONNET 18

Shall I compare thee to a day ?
Thou art more and more temperate :
Rough winds do shake the buds of May ,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date :
Sometime too the eye of heaven shines ,
And often is his gold dimm'd ;
And every fair from fair sometime declines ,
By chance or nature's course untrimm'd ;
But thy summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that thou owest ;
Nor shall brag thou wander'st in his ,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest :
So long as men can or eyes can ,
So long this and this gives to thee .
