He raised me by himself after my parents passed away in a car accident . At first we didn ? t , because I think his generation had very different values than mine . His alarm would go off at 5am every morning , and he would expect me to get up with him even though I loved to sleep . He didn ? t approve of the girls I would with because they had tattoos , or he would if I late from a party . I used to hate him for all those things , but he never trying to help me . He was always trying to get me to work hard and respect others the way he did . Like when he won a car in a contest and to a poor family down the street that needed it more than him . At the time I didn ? t really appreciate all he did , in fact I resented it , and I just wanted to and him and his house , to escape to college . But years later after he had passed away I was going over some photos and remembering all the good times we ? d shared . I regret not respecting him more , not telling him how much I loved him and realize how lucky I was to have someone like him in my life . I don ? t think I ? ll ever his death . I will never forget him .
