Hi , I'm Sarah Muñoz and I like to tell you about the trip I made with my two children to Machu Picchu , first of all we had to decide where to , my son Juan wanted to go to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower and the Arch of Triumph , but the other hand , my daughter to go to China to walk on the Great Wall , but I told them that this trip would be very expensive , so I suggested that we travel to Machu Picchu , which they happily accepted .
The day of the trip we went to the airport , there my daughter asked me " Mom , what does our flight leave ? " and I replied " Our flight leaves at 10 : 00 am and we have go to station 3 " then my son said " Mom , is the bathroom ? " so I took it together with my daughter .
On the plane they gave us a very good meal , but I thought they would charge for it , so I said to the stewardess " Are meals ? " to which she said yes .
When we in Peru , the first thing we did was go through Customs , there they asked me the reason for the trip and the length of stay , to which I replied " I travel for , I am on vacation with my children and we will in Peru for a week after this I asked a guard " where I find a taxi " to which he kindly replied and took me and my children to one , he already knew which hotel we could stay in so he asked the taxi driver " Do you where is this hotel ? " to which he responded positively and took us there .
The hotel manager was very nice , she told us where to go and suggested several places to visit , also when she asked " Is free breakfast ? " She replied yes , also about the free internet access , I also asked the manager " Where I find a good restaurant and where is the bus station " to which he answered guiding me , I remember he said something like " You have to walk three blocks ahead and then left from here " , but the most important question I asked the manager was " Where can I find a guide " then he showed me a brochure where a complete tour of Machu Picchu was shown .
The next day we got up early and met with a group to visit Machu Picchu , some people did not know how many places we would see that day so several people were heard saying " Excuse me , what places are we to visit ? " to which the guide responded while we were on the way on the bus .
The landscapes we saw were beautiful , we had a lot of fun learning about the culture of that country , eating its typical food and taking many photos , not even ten minutes passed without the phrase " Can you take me a picture , please ? "
I hope to return to this wonderful place at some point , as I like to see and learn much more about the culture of this place .
