The way I see it , social networking sites are for reconnecting with old friends . So I've got nothing against these sites if people use them to keep in touch with each other . However , when people share too much about themselves , you may end up with serious issues . This is especially true for children , who may reveal more than they should , without that everyone can see what they have written - not just their friends . Then there's the whole question of cyber bullying - where people use the sites to spread gossip about someone . That kind of is completely and something should really be done to it . I know that sites allow you to block someone who behaves , but is this enough ? If I was a parent , I would do whatever it took to ensure my children's online .
