in San Jose and enjoy the day and evening the capital of Costa Rica . Your local tour manager will greet you at the airport and arrange for your to the hotel .
Tortuguero : Awaken to a cup of famous Costa Rican coffee and travel through Braulio Carrillo Park toward the Caribbean side of Costa Rica . Travel aboard a river boat through the lush rainforest and mystical canals teaming with wildlife . Keep your eyes open as the jungle is full of amazing ; monkeys , sea turtles , otters , manatees , ocelots , sloths , caiman and exotic birds . Arrive at your lodge where you will have the afternoon to visit the village , relax by the pool or the beach . In the evening you will enjoy a buffet dinner under the stars and along the Tortuguero lagoon . Wake up . That majestic noise you hear are the howler monkeys singing in the morning . What a fabulous way to start the day . This morning you will meet your guide and go on a boat guided adventure through Tortuguero National Park . Your guide will help you spot the various wildlife and educate you on the area . Be on the look out for iguanas , sloths , toucans , caiman , capuchin monkeys , spider monkeys , howler monkeys and crocodiles . Spend the afternoon exploring or relaxing , the choice is yours . If you ? re visiting during nesting season ( Jul - Sep ) , you can choose to take a night tour with a naturalist guide and witness the sea turtles lay their eggs . A truly unforgettable experience . Tonight you will enjoy another delicious buffet dinner .
Tortuguero ? Arenal : Say goodbye to the beautiful jungle and cruise back to the mainland , where you will transfer the town of La Fortuna and the majestic Arenal , an active volcano reaching almost 6 , 000 feet . Along your journey to Arenal , you will stop for lunch . Then you will arrive at your resortand relax the rest of the day . Take this time to have a soak in the natural hot or go for a walk in the quaint town of La Fortuna .
Arenal : Good morning . Start your day with a delicious breakfast and then head out for a guided walking tour through Arenal National Park . the lava rocks and learn the volcanoes rich history . From there you will embark on your journey through the famous hanging bridges where you will walk through the top of the jungle canopy with monkeys , bird and sloths .
Arenal ? Manuel Antonio : From the jungle to the beach . Today you will continue your Costa Rican journey and head southwest to the pacific of Manuel Antonio , renowned for its beautiful blue beaches and exotic wildlife . Before you head south , you ? ll zipline high above the jungle floor , soaring through the trees . The from Arenal to Manuel Antonio is 5 hours , with stops along the way for nature viewing and lunch . You will arrive in Manuel Antonio in the afternoon , just in time to settle in for a sunset cocktail or mocktail followed by dinner .
Manuel Antonio ? San Jose
Wakeup and have a relaxing morning in Manuel , go for a swim , hit the spa or just relax . Later in the morning you ? ll depart for San Jose , where you will have one final evening to Costa Rica .
