Galileo Galilei nacque a nel 1564 .
Fu un grande studioso della matematica . Fece importantissime scoperte sulle stelle , sui pianeti e su come si comportano i corpi sulla Terra . Fu anche capace di trovare un buon metodo per descrivere le sue scoperte : il sperimentale .
Utilizzando potenti costruiti da lui stesso , Galileo cominciò ad osservare il cielo stellato .
Galileo scoprì che la aveva montagne , avvallamenti e crateri . Ma soprattutto dichiarò una cosa che allora nessuno voleva credere : il sta fermo e la gli gira intorno . Per aver detto questa cosa fu processato . Per non essere condannato nego la sua scoperta .
