Immanuel Kant

Immanuel Kant fue uno de los filósofos que más influencia logró tener en la historia de la filosofía occidental.

Sus grandes contribuciones a la metafísica, epistemología, la ética y la estética han tenido un profundo impacto en el área de la filosofía. Fue un filósofo de origen alemán cuyo trabajo integral y sistemático en epistemología, la ética y la estética influyeron enormemente en toda la filosofía posterior, especialmente en las diversas escuelas de kantianismo e idealismo.

Kant

Kant fue uno de los principales pensadores de la Ilustración y fue uno de los más grandes filósofos de todos los tiempos. En él se incluyeron nuevas tendencias que habían comenzado con el racionalismo de René Descartes y el empirismo de Francis Bacon y fue de esta forma como inició una nueva era en el desarrollo del pensamiento filosófico.

Aportaciones

En el campo de las ciencias, uno de sus aportes más conocidos es la Teoría Nebular, también conocida como teoría de Kant y Laplace, que propone explicar la formación del sistema solar como proveniente de una enorme nube de gas y polvo con forma de disco, en la que se fueron formando aglomeraciones de material que formaron el Sol hacia el centro, y los planetas como grumos de materia acumulada en sitios diversos.
