It was 3 o'clock in the morning when four - year - old Russel Brown up to go to the toilet .
His parents were fast asleep in bed . But when he a noise in the living room and a light was on , he went downstairs .

Unfortunately , Russel believed them . They asked him where the video recorder was . Russel showed them , and they had a stereo and a CD player , too .
