THE WORLD IS CAUSING FOR MANY .

Polar bears are among those most at risk . Living at the top of the Earth , the bears rely on sea ice . This is ice that floats on the ocean ? s surface . Polar bears climb onto slabs of sea ice to hunt seals . As the Arctic warms , though , sea ice is disappearing . That makes it harder for polar bears to hunt . Now researchers have discovered a group of polar bears in Greenland with an unusual trick for surviving . The bears live near a glacier ? a big mass of ice on top of land . As pieces of this ice break off and float into the ocean , the bears use them for hunting . This group of polar bears may find it easier to survive as sea ice melts .
