Los hombres de todos los tiempos han dejado diversos de sus actividades . Algunos monumentales por su tamaño y otros exquisitos por su belleza . Estos restos son estudiados por los historiadores para averiguar el pasado humano y se los pueden clasificar en :
: son aquellos restos fósiles humanos , es decir huesos o esqueletos humanos que sufrieron un proceso de fosilización y se han mantenido durante miles o millones de años .
: estos son restos , es decir que fueron el resultado de la actividad humana como los o ( cartas , mapas , documentos oficiales , diarios , fotos ) , ( herramientas , armas , tejidos , medios de transporte , etc . ) ( edificios , templos palacios , etc . ) .
u : son las narraciones , leyendas , canciones , reportajes etc . que de alguna manera nos llegan en forma oral .
En la actualidad , el proceso de investigación se desarrolla en varias etapas . El de constituye un punto de partida . Los interrogantes pueden ser muy diversos , por ejemplo ¿ Cuáles fueron los cambios políticos o económicos en cierta época y lugar ? Para encontrar las posibles respuestas a estos interrogantes , los investigadores plantean a las que se las denominan y seleccionan sus de información para . Entre las fuentes se distinguen :
? que son los testimonios que se originaron en la misma estudiada .
? Las fuentes , son el resultado de investigaciones anteriores y aportes de otras ciencias como la Antropología o la Arqueología .
