Kiwi. New Zealand´s symbol.

The kiwi is a flightless bird from New Zealand; it is the national emblem of New Zealand. This bird lives in forests, scrub, swamps, grasslands, and farmlands. Kiwis were named for their unusual call. This territorial bird is about the size of a chicken and lives in pairs. It has a life span of up to 40 years.
