About this activity

complete the senteces with the correct form of the regular plural nouns.

1. If the singular noun ends in a vowel (a, e, i, o, u) + 'y', you just add '-s'. For example, 'boy' becomes 'boys'.
2. If the singular noun ends in a consonant + 'y', you change the 'y' to 'i' and add '-es'. For example, 'baby' becomes 'babies'.
3. If the singular noun ends in '-s', '-ss', '-sh', '-ch', '-x', or '-z', you add '-es'. For example, 'box' becomes 'boxes' and 'watch' becomes 'watches'.
