Maria a student who lives in São Paulo . Every morning , she goes the university by bus . She studies English because important her job . Her professor , Mr . Johnson , very kind and always helps her with her assignments . The library she studies in very large and has many books .

One day , Maria received a letter her friend in New York . In the letter , her friend invited her visit during the summer holidays . Maria was very excited and decided plan her trip . She bought a gift her friend and wrote a thank you note .

Maria's parents , who are a small town , were happy about her trip . They told her enjoy and take lots of pictures . The airport she will depart from is not far from her home . Maria feels going to be an amazing experience .

When Maria arrived in New York , her friend was waiting her at the airport . They went straight the famous landmarks like Times Square and Central Park . The weather was warm and sunny , perfect sightseeing . Maria took many photos and made memories will last a lifetime .
