Recommended proposal

From the findings of the investigation , it is recommended that a solar trough be built in Greenery Park . Among the three options , this one is the most practical and popular .

1 . Implementation
To implement the recommended proposal , a budget of 1 million Hong Kong dollars will be required to build the solar trough . It should be set up in nine months .

In order to maximise the benefits of the system , it would be necessary to ensure that the installation and operation of the system are properly done . It is therefore proposed that an investigation team formed to study overseas cases and experiences .

The location of the solar trough would be vital for the success of the project . Discussions with the management could be made to an appropriate location in the park for the installation of the solar trough .

In addition , as the effectiveness of the solar trough relies very much on the weather , it is suggested that an operation team be set up to prepare contingency plans for poor weather conditions . This would help to the effectiveness of the system .


2 . Elaboration on benefits
The construction of a solar trough would the company and the community in a variety of ways . The details are as follows :

Requiring less manpower
Unlike other types of renewable energy , solar energy is very easy to manage . This means the project will not consume too much manpower and this can be to other tasks in the park .

Reducing electricity consumption
When the solar trough is installed , it will generate electricity within the park . This would ensure that electricity consumption and costs are lowered . If these savings can then be used to help undertake new programmes , this will further benefit the .

awareness of environmental protection
Through this project , Greenery Park demonstrates that everyone has a part to play in creating an environmentally friendly society . As a result , this would help to raise the awareness and the sense of responsibility from other businesses and the public to protect the environment .

Conclusion
To conclude , the building a solar - trough is the best option to environmental awareness within the Park . With the above benefits in mind , it is hoped that the Management will find the proposal convincing and effective .
