Dicha parte reacciona enviando señales a la , para que fabrique hormonas , las cuales pueden actuar sobre un o sobre otras glándulas endocrinas y se distribuyen a lo largo de nuestro organismo transportadas por la . Las hormonas son altamente , ya que actúan exclusivamente sobre ciertos órganos ( corazón , músculos lisos , otras glándulas endocrinas etc . ) , en los que desencadenan reacciones .
Las hormonas se mediante un proceso denominado retroalimentación o feedback , ya que un exceso de una determinada hormona provoca que deje de segregarse .
