Rectas...

Para la geometría, una recta es una sucesión infinita de puntos que se prolonga en una misma dirección. 

Las rectas, por lo tanto, no disponen de comienzo ni tampoco de final, a diferencia de las semirrectas (tienen comienzo pero no final) y de los segmentos (empiezan y terminan en ciertos puntos).

Rectas paralelas

Paralelo, por su parte, es aquello mantiene la equidistancia con algo y que, pese a que se extienda indefinidamente, nunca se cruzará con el otro elemento, ya que ambos no se encontrarán.

Esto quiere decir que dos rectas paralelas no se intersecarán en ningún momento.

Rectas secantes y perpendiculares

  Las rectas secantes, comparten un único punto. En dicho punto, ambas rectas se cortan, lo que quiere decir que no mantienen una relación de paralelismo. Las rectas secantes son perpendiculares cuando, al cortarse, forman cuatro ángulos rectos (de 90°).

Tipos de ángulos

Los ángulos pueden clasificarse de acuerdo a su amplitud.

Encontraremos tres tipos:

  • AGUDO
  • RECTO
  • OBTUSO
