Legend or not : the Curse of King Tut
There ( be ) much to do about the Curse of King Tut ever since his tomb was opened . Legend has it that King Tut had a curse placed on his grave that said that anyone who would disturb his grave would die . It ( be ) Howard Carter and his men who would do so .
It all ( start ) when Carter's canary suddenly stopped chirping during a warm night in Cairo . When Carter ( find ) his bird , it lay dead in his cage and a Cobra snake - a type of serpent known to protect the great kings of Egypt - came out of the cage .
Some night later , all the lights in Cairo ( go ) out . That night , all of Carter's men ( die ) .
The legend ( exist ) for many years now . People ( find ) evidence that supports the reality of the legend as well as evidence that says it is fake . Howard Carter , for instance , never died from the curse . However , the fact that his men all died a suspicious dead ( remain ) undisputed .
