Parents arrived , faces etched with concern , as the began to rally together . Search parties formed , combing through nearby and , hoping to find any . Hours passed , and the grew darker , amplifying the that gripped everyone . Rumors started to swirl , each more alarming than the last . The were called , their flashing in the night , a stark contrast to the growing dread . As the clock ticked on , began to wane , but the determination to find them remained strong .
