Los verbos frasales son combinaciones de verbo + preposición que, juntos, tienen un significado diferente al del verbo por sí solo.

"Abandonarse a" significa 'entregarse completamente a una emoción o sensación'.

"Pasar de" significa 'ir de un sitio a otro'.

"Depender de" es un verbo frasal.

"Ponerse a" es un verbo frasal que significa 'comenzar a hacer algo'.

"Pasar por" es un verbo frasal que significa 'ser percibido de una determinada manera'.

Los verbos frasales se diferencian de los verbos preposicionales en que en los primeros el significado del verbo no cambia y en los segundos sí.

"Tachar de" significa 'marcar algo o a alguien como incorrecto, inapropiado o negativo'. "Tachar" significa 'borrar lo escrito haciendo unos trazos encima'. Por esto, "Tachar de" es un verbo frasal.

"Dar con" es un verbo preposicional que significa 'encontrar algo o a alguien'.
