Las cepilladoras de metales son máquinas herramienta que se utilizan para generar superficies planas y lisas en piezas metálicas

Su funcionamiento se basa en un principio similar al del torno, pero con adaptaciones de giro

La pieza de trabajo se fija de forma segura junto al carnero y se fija con la palanca

La mesa se mueve de forma controlada hacia las cuchillas, lo que permite que las cuchillas corten la superficie de la pieza de trabajo

El movimiento puede ser manual, mecánico o automático, dependiendo del tipo de cepilladora

Las cuchillas afiladas, que GIRAN cortan finas capas de material de la superficie, creando una superficie plana y lisa.
