In the beginning of the lesson , we had a ? quick review of the use of Connectors and Clauses and get ready for the Grammar Quiz 3 . After the quiz , we continued developing the grammar exercises from the PTACTICE section of the Unit 21 , dedicated to the use of speech . We checked how verbs in reported speech and what to use with direct speech . ?
Now you know that reported speech doesn't need quotation marks while direct speech is separated from the author's words by a and is written inside the quotation marks .
