Frontallappen / pandelappen ( lobus )

Bagerst på findes det motoriske center , som sender impulser til den tværstribede skeletmuskulatur .

Nederst i lappen findes område , som er . Centret styrer muskulaturen til læber og tunge , men centret har også betydning , når vi formulerer os mundtligt og .

Isselappen ( lobus parietalis )

Forrest på isselappen findes det center . Det modtager impulser fra om fx smerte , berøring , vandladningstrang og temperatur .

Temporallappen ( lobus temporalis )

Lige under det sensoriske center , i , findes , som modtager impulser fra det indre øre .

Midt i temporallappen ligger lugtecentret .
Bag hørecentret findes område . Det har betydning for vores evne til at mundtlig og skriftlig kommunikation .

Nakkelappen ( lobus occipitalis )

Bagerst i nakkelappen findes , som danner billeder og sammenligner dem med , vi tidligere har oplevet .
