El clima de la costa es muy frio

El relieve de la costa es plano y ondulado con partes montañosas

Las ciudades son: Lima, Callao, Trujillo, Huanchaco, Chimbote, Paracas, Chincha y Huacho

La flora marina es muy abundante, destacando las algas.

Aves: picaflor, lechuzas y pericos Peces: anchovetas, calamar y pulpo Aves marinas: pelicanos, guanay y huerequeque

Mar tropical: Presente en la costa norte del Perú con aguas cálidas que varían entre 19°C y 23°C. Se caracteriza por algas, manglares, tortugas, cocodrilo de Tumbes, langosta y concha negra.

Mar frio: Limitado por la corriente peruana o de Humboldt, se extiende desde la costa central de Chile hasta la costa norte del Perú.

Desierto del pacifico: Se extiende a lo largo de la costa, desde los 0 hasta los 1,000 msnm, con un relieve montañoso.

Bosque seco ecuatorial: Se extiende en la faja costera entre Tumbes y La Libertad, llegando hasta los 1000 msnm.

Bosque tropical del pacifico: Se ubica en una pequeña área en la costa norte de Tumbes,tiene un clima tropical y lluvioso, con flora y fauna propias de bosques tropicales.
