La campaña de Mayo amarillo busca crear conciencia sobre la importancia de respetar las normas de tránsito.

Se utiliza el lazo amarillo como símbolo de alegría

El lema de este año es "Movilidad humana, responsabilidad humana"

Es una campaña que solamente se hace en Uruguay.

Somos responsables en el tránsito, ya sea como ciclistas, motociclistas, automovilistas y peatones.

Si solamente los automovilistas respetan las normas de tránsito ya no existirán más accidentes.

Se utiliza el color amarillo como sinónimo de atención, al igual que ese color significa lo mismo en las señales de tránsito con ese color.
