About this activity

In this “Yes/No” activity, students will practice the coordinating conjunctions and, but, or, so, because. Each card presents two clauses linked by a suggested connector. Learners decide “Yes” if the connector is correct or “No” if it’s incorrect, then read a brief English explanation that justifies the choice and, if needed, provides the appropriate connector.

This set includes 5 cards, each targeting a different function of these conjunctions—addition, contrast, choice, result, and reason—so students learn to join ideas accurately in real communication contexts.
