Para mantener y aumentar la biodiversidad a nivel mundial es necesario seguir una serie de medidas y acciones concretas . En 2015 las Naciones Unidas aprobaron los objetivos de desarrollo ( ODS ) .
A continuación , se presentan algunas de las medidas que ayudarán a conseguir los :

- Frenar el cambio .

- Limitar la y perseguir la caza furtiva y el comercio ilegal de especies .

- Proteger la agricultura , la y los .

- Respetar los acuerdos internacionales y las que protegen la biodiversidad .

- Adoptar para impedir la introducción de especies .

- Proteger las especies en y los naturales que habitan .
