About this activity

El uso adecuado de los antibióticos ha salvado millones de vidas desde su descubrimiento. Sin embargo, su mal uso especialmente la automedicación representa una amenaza creciente para la salud pública.
Automedicarse con antibióticos favorece la aparición de bacterias resistentes, disminuye la eficacia de los tratamientos y pone en riesgo tanto al paciente como a la comunidad. Es fundamental entender por qué los antibióticos deben utilizarse solo bajo prescripción médica.
