PowerPoint es un programa de compuestas por una serie de . Cada diapositiva funciona como una donde se puede agregar texto , imágenes , videos y otros elementos multimedia .

Para escribir texto en una diapositiva , se utilizan los de texto , que son cuadros donde se puede escribir libremente . El diseño de las diapositivas se puede modificar eligiendo un , que aplica colores , fuentes y estilos coherentes en toda la presentación .

Entre las herramientas más usadas están las transiciones , que son visuales que ocurren al de una diapositiva a otra .

Para agregar nuevas diapositivas , se usa la opción diapositiva que se encuentra en la pestaña " Inicio " . También se puede duplicar una diapositiva para copiar su contenido y estilo .

El tamaño de una diapositiva puede cambiarse para adaptarse a diferentes formatos de pantalla , como pantalla ( 16 : 9 ) o ( 4 : 3 ) .

Para cambiar el color de fondo de una diapositiva se utiliza la opción del fondo en la pestaña " Diseño " .

Para modificar la apariencia del texto se pueden cambiar la fuente , el tamaño y el color desde la pestaña " Inicio " .
