Last summer , the country experienced a severe ( 1 ) that lasted for several months . As a result , farmers struggled to keep their crops alive , and the government had to ( 2 ) on water usage in many areas . Access to clean water became ( 3 ) , especially in rural communities .
Unfortunately , some of the water sources were found to be ( 4 ) , causing health problems among local residents . The crisis became a ( 5 ) issue discussed in newspapers , radio , and even social media . In fact , it dominated conversations everywhere ; from work meetings to family dinners .
At the same time , some people focused more on ( 6 ) than the real problems , spreading false stories about who was responsible for the crisis . However , local authorities worked hard to ( 7 ) the challenges and improve the situation . They also released a ( 8 ) newsletter to keep citizens informed and used part of the national ( 9 ) to fund emergency water projects .
