¿Qué es un Hub? R: Es un dispositivo fisico que conecta varios dispositivos fisicos en una red local (LAN).

¿Cómo funciona el HUB? R: Como un punto central, distribuyendo los datos que recibe de un dispositivo a los demas.

Qué es transmisión de datos? R: Cuando un dispositivo envia un paquete de datos al hub, este lo recibe y lo retransmite a todos los puertos disponibles.

¿Qué son los switches? R: Tienen presentaciones muy superiores a los hubs por lo que si aun encontramos alguna red que utilice un hub es muy recomendable sustituirlo por un switch

¿Qué es Hub Pasivos? R: No amplifican la señal. Simplemente repiten la señal recibida de otros puertos, son mas simples y economicos.

¿Qué es Hub Activo? R: Amplifican y regeneran la señal antes de enviarla a otros puertos, mejora la calidad de la transmision y permite cubrir mayores distancias.

¿Qué es Hub Inteligente? R: Son conocidos como Smart Hubs, ofrecen funciones adicionales como monitoreo de trafico y gestión de red.
