Los conectores de tiempo nos ayudan a ordenar hechos y experiencias en una narración . Emplea palabras como para indicar un momento concreto , para describir acciones simultáneas , y para hablar de eventos que ocurren tras otro , y para expresar límites o condiciones . avanza la historia , se presenta nueva información , el ritmo cambia . Aunque algunas secuencias pueden variar , la claridad depende de escoger el conector adecuado en cada oración .

Para expresar la relación temporal entre acciones , podemos usar como , , tan pronto como , desde que y hasta que . Por ejemplo , 'Cuando llegaste , la reunión ya había empezado' muestra una acción que sucede al instante de otra . 'Trabajé al mismo tiempo que llovía' indica simultaneidad , y 'Antes de cenar , revisé los correos' sitúa una acción anterior . El uso correcto de estos conectores facilita la claridad y la cohesión del discurso .
