Un lot de es defineix com la quantitat total de llavor de una espècie i ecotipus i amb una i de determinades .
El treballar en lots ens permet : 1 ) evitar i confusions en el procés de producció , 2 ) mantindre la , 3 ) conèixer diferents paràmetres com cost , de . . . , 4 ) Comparar resultats entre diferents , i 5 ) conèixer i la procedència de cada lot .
Per a poder mantindre la identificació i traçabilitat de cada lot , asignarem a cadascú un identificatiu únic i es mantindrà durant tot el procés fins la plantació dels exemplars .
