Descomponer 25 + 36 da 50.

Sumar 43 + 56 usando descomposición da 99.

La descomposición sólo funciona para números que empiezan por 1.

Al descomponer, siempre se deben convertir las unidades en decenas antes de sumar.

Si las sumas superan 99, la descomposición ya no se puede aplicar.

Descomponer en decenas y unidades facilita sumar hasta 99.

Sumar 43 + 26 descompone como (40+3) + (20+6) y da 69.

La descomposición separa la suma en decenas y unidades y luego se suman por partes.
