Have you ever heard about " bleisure " travelling ? I bet you haven ? t ! So what is it ? This is a comparatively new trend for busy business people , a kind of combination of travelling for business and . It was always my dream to visit as many new places as possible so being quite persistent in my pursuits , I was looking for ways to fulfil this ambition . When I started a new job , I was inspired by the fact that business trips along with face - to - face with our foreign partners would become a part of it .

I was excited that I could also make some personal time to explore new places as well as hang out with the locals . After several trips I noticed an interesting thing ? during a short - trip I am more focused on my work while taking part in fair trades and conferences and still having time for leisure .

I am not the first person to discover this . " Bleisure " travel was brought to light in 2011 and the number of such trips is growing annually . Sociologists found that millennials are more likely to make travel which include both business and entertainment activities . This can be explained easily . Firstly , this is a great chance to save on travel since the company is not likely to pay for your leisure activities , however , they will cover your flight especially if it is supposed to be a long - haul . Secondly , known as 'a workaholic generation' , millennials stay on their work and take regular vacations more seldom . There is no doubt , " bleisure " travelling is a great way to maintain your work - life balance .

By the way , these days I am planning my next trip . I will start in Rome where we are going to discuss terms of delivery and client support with our potential partner . However , the city is Florence , where I will be travelling right after the negotiations . So take my advice , even if you have a busy schedule , you can always find some time to relax and enjoy the world around you .
