El electrodo debe almacenarse en agua destilada.

Enciende el pH-metro y deja que se estabilice.

Introduce el electrodo en la primera solución buffer estándar (ej. pH 7,00). Espera que el valor se estabilice y ajusta si es necesario.

Durante la calibración solo es necesario usar una solución buffer y no se requieren más.

La lectura se puede registrar sin esperar a que se estabilice.

Lava el electrodo con agua destilada y sécalo suavemente con papel de filtro (sin frotar).

Guarda el electrodo en agua destilada al terminar.

No es necesario agitar la muestra para eliminar burbujas.

Verifica que el electrodo esté en buen estado (sin burbujas en el bulbo, sin cristales secos).
