Marily Morales Segovia nació en Yaguareté Corá el 15 de junio de 1935.

Fue únicamente escritora, sin dedicarse a otras disciplinas artísticas.

Compuso más de 100 obras junto a reconocidos artistas correntinos.

El maestro Herminio Giménez le propuso en 1957 participar en la obra “Alto Paraná”.

Una de sus obras se titula “Bajo la luna de abril”.

Nunca recibió reconocimientos oficiales en vida.

Fue declarada Ciudadana Ilustre en Corrientes en 2002.

Residió alternativamente en Corrientes y en Madrid, España.

También escribió el “Manual del folklore correntino”.

Falleció en 2017 en la ciudad de Corrientes.
