En una estación lluviosa hace que nazcan muchas en un bosque . Esto hace que los de la zona tengan mucha comida y puedan criar muchos con lo que la población de conejos .
Al cabo de un cierto tiempo la población de plantas al haber gran cantidad de conejos . Estos , al tener menos comida , también porque no crían tanto .
Al no haber tantos conejos las plantas pueden volver a su población y se vuelve a empezar otra vez el ciclo .
De esta forma , los ecosistemas tienden a mantener en las poblaciones de las distintas que en ellos habitan .
