Nuestra es el rastro que dejamos cada vez que navegamos . Cada búsqueda , like o comentario añade que pueden ser usados para perfilar intereses , vulnerabilidades y hábitos . Los metadatos de las imágenes , las direcciones IP y las de los sitios recopilados con el consentimiento requieren atención para no exponer información sensible . Proteger la implica revisar configuraciones , usar contraseñas fuertes y limitar el seguimiento entre aplicaciones .

La huella digital no solo refleja lo que en redes sociales , sino también información que generamos al interactuar en línea . Cada dispositivo conectado y transmite datos como ubicación , historial de navegación , contactos o patrones de consumo . Estos datos , cuando son analizados por algoritmos , permiten crear perfiles que influyen en la publicidad que vemos , las recomendaciones de contenido e incluso en decisiones laborales o académicas .

Proteger la huella digital significa comprender que toda acción en deja un rastro permanente . Para reducir riesgos , es importante activar la en dos pasos , actualizar el software con frecuencia y ser críticos frente a los permisos que otorgamos a aplicaciones y web .
