Last summer , I had the to visit Barcelona , a city in the of Spain . It is the of the region of Catalonia , and it is for its culture , beautiful buildings , and amazing food . The city is located by the Sea , so it also has lovely beaches and warm , sunny almost all year round .

One of the first places I visited was the Sagrada Familia , a church that is still under construction . It was by Antoni Gaudí , one of the most famous in Spanish history . His work is very special ? full of shapes from nature and mosaics . I had never seen anything like it before . Another of his famous is Park Güell , a large park filled with strange and beautiful buildings , benches , and .

During my , I walked through the Gothic Quarter , one of the parts of the city . The streets , old buildings , and small shops made me feel like I was walking through history . I also visited several museums , including one dedicated to the artist Pablo Picasso , lived in Barcelona for many years .

The weather was perfect ? sunny , but not too hot . I one afternoon relaxing at the beach , swimming in the sea , and enjoying the . There were many people there , but it didn ? t feel too . In the evening , I tried some Spanish food . I ate paella , a dish made with rice , , and vegetables , and I also had tapas , are small dishes that you can with friends .

One night , I went to see a flamenco show . The music and dancing were of energy and emotion . It was one of the best of the trip . After the show , I walked around the city and the exciting nightlife . Barcelona really comes alive at night ? there are street , music , and people everywhere .

I loved how lively and colourful the city was . Everywhere I went , there was interesting to see or do . The of culture , history , modern art , and beach life makes Barcelona a great place for tourists . I I can go back again ? there ? s still so more to discover !
