About this activity
Arrange the students in one or two lines like a race.
Each student gets a number card (1–20).
The teacher calls out an ordinal number (e.g., “Who is the fifth?”).
The student with that card must quickly step forward or raise their hand.
If correct, the class claps for them. If not, they try again.
Continue until all ordinal numbers are practiced.
