ateo estaba muy emocionado porque iba a pasar las vacaciones en la casa de sus abuelos . llos vivían en un pequeño pueblo rodeado de árboles , ríos y montañas . uando llegó , la abuela lara lo recibió con un abrazo y el abuelo edro le mostró el jardín lleno de flores de muchos colores .
ada mañana , ateo se levantaba temprano para ayudar a recoger huevos en el gallinero . espués , caminaba con su abuelo edro por el bosque , donde veían pájaros , mariposas y hasta una familia de venados . n la tarde , la abuela lara le enseñaba a preparar pan casero y jugaban a las cartas en la terraza .
l último día , M ateo escribió una carta para agradecerles por todo . ijo que nunca olvidaría los paseos , los cuentos antes de dormir y el sonido del río cerca de la casa , porque esas vacaciones fueron las más felices que había vivido .
