About this activity

Activity Description: Grammar Frog Quiz
Objective:
Students will practice key grammar structures in English through a fun multiple-choice activity. The “frog” jumps from question to question, and students must choose the correct answer to move forward.

Grammar focus:

I’m good at… with different pronouns (I, you, he, she, we, they) and the verb to be.

What are you good at? → correct responses with -ing verbs.

Possessive apostrophe (e.g., John’s book, the children’s toys).

Have to / Has to for expressing obligations.

Like / Likes + verb -ing to talk about hobbies and preferences.

Instructions for students:

Read each question carefully.

Choose the correct answer from the three options (a, b, c).

If you answer correctly, the frog can “jump” to the next question. If not, try again!

Continue until you finish all the questions.

Skills practiced:

Grammar accuracy.

Vocabulary for hobbies and daily activities.

Reading comprehension of short sentences.

Applying grammar rules in context.

Level:
Primary school (ages 8–10), A1 level (beginner).

Extension idea:
