I still remember the day I moved to London . It was a cold morning January , and I arrived at the airport 7 : 30 a . m . My first job interview was scheduled Monday , so I had only two days to prepare .

that time , I didn ? t know many people , but I met a friendly neighbor who invited me to dinner the weekend . We talked about how difficult it had been to find an apartment the 1990s compared to today .

Later , I visited the British Museum a rainy afternoon . I was impressed by the collections and the number of tourists visiting , even a weekday . My favorite memory , however , is walking along the Thames sunset and realizing I had finally started a new chapter of my life .
