La primera màquina que aconseguia dibuixar el so en un paper. No el podia reproduir, només et deixava veure la seva forma.

Són les vibracions invisibles que hi ha a l'aire i que formen els sons. El fonoautògraf les dibuixava per poder-les veure. Dos paraules.

L'invent d'Edison que sí que podia gravar i després reproduir el so. Va ser el primer que va permetre escoltar una gravació.

Fer servir ordinadors moderns per convertir els antics "dibuixos" del so en so de veritat que podem escoltar ara. Dos paraules

Era el "paper" on es gravava el so. Consistia en un full normal cobert amb el fum negre d'una làmpada. L'agulla del fonoautògraf ratllava aquest fum, deixant-hi el dibuix de l'ona de so. Dos paraules.
