Girls couldn't ( cannot ) walk in the streets or go to school . Everyone was scared , but Malala was determined to get an education . On 9th October 2012 , a terrorist ( to get ) on the bus where Malala was taken home from school . No one will forget what happened next : the terrorist ( to shoot ) Malala in the head . But Malala ( to survive ) and has become ( to become ) a symbol for human rights .
In 2014 , Malala ( to win ) the Nobel Peace Prize . Terrorists tried to silence Malala , but now the whole world listens to her message .
