En handball, cada equipo intenta marcar goles lanzando el balón a la portería contraria.

Cada partido dura 90 minutos sin prórroga.

Se puede driblar el balón para avanzar y luego pasar o lanzar.

El portero puede situarse dentro de la zona de 6 metros y tocar el balón allí.

El balón puede permanecer fijo en el suelo de la cancha durante la jugada.

Los jugadores de campo pueden entrar en la zona de 6 metros con el balón si no la tocan.

Un equipo puede dar 6 pasos con el balón sin botarlo.

El saque de banda se realiza desde el centro del campo.

Un jugador puede dar hasta 3 pasos con el balón sin botarlo antes de pasar o tirar.

10

El saque inicial se realiza al inicio del partido y después de cada gol.
