Penjumlahan pecahan dengan penyebut berbeda tidak perlu mencari penyebut bersama.

1/3 + 1/6 = 1/4.

Jika penyebut sama, pembilang dikalikan.

Jika pecahan memiliki penyebut 6 dan 4, kita ubah ke penyebut 12.

Penjumlahan pecahan dengan penyebut sama menambah pembilang.

Pecahan campuran tidak bisa ditambahkan tanpa diubah jadi pecahan biasa.

Contoh: 1/4 + 2/4 = 3/4.

Untuk menambahkan pecahan dengan penyebut berbeda, ubah menjadi pecahan dengan penyebut yang sama.
